Jesus was washed as the sacrifice and High Priest
MATTHEW 3:13
Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
:14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?
:15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness.
Then he suffered him.
"Righteousness" – how do I get right with God?
God’s Word is right.
Abraham believed God … this counted as righteousness.
GENESIS 15:6
And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.
"Fulfil" – fulfillment of a previous prophecy or shadow of the Law. That is a deeper fulfillment of the Law.
ISAIAH 42:21
The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable.
ROMANS 10:4
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
The law was righteous in that it pointed towards Christ, Who was to fulfill its deeper meanings. Things must happen to Christ in the same way that they happened to the elements of the Law because the Law was the shadow or outline of what was to come.
Only Christianity fits into the outline of a previous religion (the Jewish religion) and fulfills that outline or shadow in a deeper sense.
COLOSSIANS 2:16
Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
:17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
HEBREWS 8:4
For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law:
:5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.
HEBREWS 10:1
For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
So Christ, Who is the High Priest, had to be washed by a prophet in the same way that the prophet Moses washed the high priest Aaron before Moses anointed Aaron with oil.
LEVITICUS 8:5
And Moses said unto the congregation, This is the thing which the LORD commanded to be done.
:6 And Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water.
Aaron’s sons were to be high priests after him.
LEVITICUS 8:12
:12 And he poured of the anointing oil upon Aaron's head, and anointed him, to sanctify him.
JOHN 1:32
And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.
So Jesus, our High Priest, was washed by the prophet John and anointed with the Spirit to fulfill the requirements of the Law.
He was also washed as He was our sacrifice for sin and our burnt offering as He suffered the torments of hell on our behalf as He paid the price for our sins.
II CHRONICLES 4:6
He made also ten lavers, and put five on the right hand, and five on the left, to wash in them: such things as they offered for the burnt offering they washed in them; but the sea was for the priests to wash in.
Jesus is our sacrificial Lamb. He was our burnt offering. So He had to be washed in water. This happened in the river Jordan.
EXODUS 12:8
And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.
:9 Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof.
:10 And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.
Our "sacrificial Lamb" at Calvary became our "burnt offering" as He walked over hellfire to win the keys of death and hell from Satan and dumped our confessed sins onto the Devil.
Roast with fire. This represented the fires of hell. There was no water present. Fire is much hotter than boiling water. There was no mercy for Jesus in His sufferings.
Any left-overs were totally burned and could not be used again. Some were eaten and some were turned to ash. Nothing about the Passover lamb would rot.
Jesus is our Passover Lamb, and He would never see corruption when He died because He resurrected in three days, before corruption could set in.
The sacrifice was used once, and then the remains were burnt.
"Burnt" also meant it could only be used once. One sacrifice for sin, once.
REVELATION 1:15
And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace;…
REVELATION 1:18
I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
He carried our sins across hellfire to dump them on the Devil, who is the source of sin.
Being sinless and perfect, hellfire could not consume Him.
The prophet John the Baptist washed Jesus as the High Priest. Then Jesus was anointed as the Spirit came down on Him.
MATTHEW 3:16
And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
The Spirit rested upon Him, it did not go into Him.
Anointing means oil on the flesh, not going into the person’s body by drinking the oil.
So the Spirit never went into Him.
He already had the Spirit, being conceived by the Spirit.
MATTHEW 1:20
But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
So the Holy Ghost was His Father. But God was His Father.
So the Holy Ghost is God the Father. One and the same Spirit. A baby cannot have two fathers.
"God the Father" is never mentioned in the Old Testament.
God only became "God the Father" when all of God dwelled bodily in the Person of Jesus.
COLOSSIANS 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
EPHESIANS 4:4
There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; .
ISAIAH 43:11
I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.
There is no Jesus as a second Person and Savior who stands beside the throne of God.
JOHN 1:33
And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
Jesus was anointed with the Holy Ghost, which descended on Him and remained on Him.
The Holy Ghost did not go into Him.
He was not baptized with the Holy Ghost. He is actually the One who baptizes others with the Holy Ghost.

耶和华因自己公义的缘故，喜欢使律法（或译：训诲）为大、为尊。
罗马书 10:4
因为基督是律法的总结，使凡信他的都得着义。
律法是公义的，因为它指向基督，而基督要成全律法更深层的含义。发生在基督身上的事，必须与律法中各项要素所预示的情形相吻合，因为律法正是那将要来临之事的影儿或轮廓。
唯有基督教契合了先前宗教（犹太教）的轮廓，并在更深层的意义上成全了那个轮廓或影儿。
歌罗西书 2:16
所以，不拘在饮食上，或节期、月朔、安息日，都不可让人论断你们。

他若在地上，必不得为祭司，因为已有照律法献礼物的祭司。
:5 他们供奉的事本是天上事的形状和影儿，正如摩西将要造帐幕的时候，蒙神警戒他，说：“你要谨慎，作各样的物件都要照着在山上指示你的样式。”
希伯来书 10:1
律法既是将来美事的影儿，不是本物的真像，就不能借着每年常献一样的祭物，叫那近前来的人得以完全。
因此，身为大祭司的基督，必须由一位先知为他施洗（用水洗净），就像先知摩西在用油膏抹大祭司亚伦之前，先为亚伦施洗一样。
利未记 8:5
摩西对会众说：“这就是耶和华所吩咐当行的事。”
:6 摩西带了亚伦和他儿子来，用水洗了他们。
亚伦的儿子们将在他之后担任大祭司。
利未记 8:12

约翰福音 1:32

耶稣是我们的赎罪羔羊，也是我们的燔祭。因此，他必须受水洗。 这事发生在约旦河。
《出埃及记》12:8
当夜要吃羊羔的肉；用火烤了，与无酵饼和苦菜同吃。
:9 不可吃生的，断不可吃水煮的，要带着头、腿、脏腑，用火烤了吃。
:10 不可剩下一点留到早晨；若留到早晨，要用火烧了。
我们在各各他的“逾越节羔羊”成了我们的“燔祭”；祂踏过地狱之火，从撒但手中夺取了死亡与阴间的钥匙，并将我们认过的罪倾倒在魔鬼身上。
用火烤。这象征着地狱的烈火。过程中没有用水。火的温度远高于沸水。耶稣在受苦时未曾得到丝毫怜悯。
剩下的部分必须彻底焚烧，不可再作他用。一部分被吃掉，另一部分化为灰烬。逾越节羔羊的任何部分都不会腐烂。
耶稣是我们的逾越节羔羊；祂死后并未经历身体的朽坏，因为祂在三天内复活了，那时朽坏尚未发生。
这祭物只使用一次，余下的部分便被焚烧。
“焚烧”也意味着它只能使用一次。为罪献祭，仅此一次。
《启示录》1:15
脚好像在炉中锻炼光明的铜；……
《启示录》1:18
又是那存活的；我曾死过，现在又活了，直活到永永远远；并且拿着死亡和阴间的钥匙。
祂背负着我们的罪穿过地狱之火，将其倾倒在罪的源头——魔鬼身上。
祂无罪且完美，地狱之火无法吞噬祂。
先知施洗约翰作为大祭司为耶稣洗净。随后，圣灵降临在耶稣身上，祂接受了膏抹。
马太福音 3:16
耶稣受了洗，随即从水里上来。天忽然为祂开了，祂看见神的灵仿佛鸽子降下，落在祂身上。
圣灵停留在祂身上，却没有进入祂里面。
膏抹是指用油涂抹在祂的身体上，而不是像喝油那样进入人的身体。
所以，圣灵并没有进入祂里面。
祂本来就拥有圣灵，因为祂是由圣灵感孕的。
马太福音 1:20
耶稣正思念这事的时候，有主的使者在梦中向他显现，说：“大卫的子孙约瑟，不要怕，只管娶过你的妻子马利亚来，因她所怀的孕是从圣灵来的。”
这样看来，圣灵是耶稣的父，但神是耶稣的父。
所以，圣灵就是父神，是同一位灵。一个婴儿不可能有两个父亲。
旧约中从未提及“父神”。
只有当神的一切属性都以肉身住在耶稣里面时，神才成为“父神”。
歌罗西书 2:9 因为神本性一切的丰盛，都有形有体地居住在基督里面。
以弗所书 4:4
身体只有一个，圣灵只有一个，正如你们蒙召，同有一个指望一样。
以赛亚书 43:11
我，惟有我是耶和华；除我以外没有救主。
耶稣并非站在上帝宝座旁的第二位救主。
约翰福音 1:33
我先前不认识他，但那差我用水施洗的，对我说：“你看见圣灵降在谁身上，停留在谁身上，谁就是用圣灵施洗的。”
耶稣受圣灵膏抹，圣灵降在他身上，停留在他身上。
圣灵并没有进入他里面。
他没有受圣灵的洗。他才是真正用圣灵为他人施洗的那一位。

« Justice » – comment être juste devant Dieu ?
La Parole de Dieu est juste.
Abraham crut en Dieu… cela lui fut compté comme justice.
GENÈSE 15:6
Il crut en l'Éternel, qui le lui imputa à justice.
« Accomplir » – l'accomplissement d'une prophétie antérieure ou de l'ombre de la Loi. Il s'agit là d'un accomplissement plus profond de la Loi.
ÉSAÏE 42:21
L'Éternel a pris plaisir, à cause de sa justice, à magnifier la Loi et à la rendre glorieuse.
ROMAINS 10:4
Car Christ est la fin de la Loi, pour la justification de tous ceux qui croient.
La Loi était juste en ce qu'elle pointait vers Christ, qui devait en accomplir les significations profondes. Les événements devaient se dérouler pour Christ de la même manière qu'ils s'étaient déroulés pour les éléments de la Loi, car la Loi était l'ombre ou l'esquisse de ce qui devait venir.
Seul le christianisme s'inscrit dans le cadre d'une religion antérieure (la religion juive) et accomplit ce cadre ou cette ombre dans un sens plus profond.
COLOSSIENS 2:16
Que personne donc ne vous juge au sujet du manger ou du boire, ou au sujet d'une fête, d'une nouvelle lune ou des sabbats :
:17 C'était l'ombre des choses à venir, mais la réalité est en Christ. HÉBREUX 8:4
S'il était sur la terre, il ne serait pas prêtre, puisque là sont ceux qui présentent les offrandes selon la loi :
:5 lesquels célèbrent un culte, image et ombre des choses célestes, selon que Moïse en fut divinement averti lorsqu'il allait construire le tabernacle : « Prends garde », lui fut-il dit, « de faire tout d'après le modèle qui t'a été montré sur la montagne. »
HÉBREUX 10:1
En effet, la loi, qui possède une ombre des biens à venir, et non l'exacte représentation des choses, ne peut jamais, par ces mêmes sacrifices qu'on offre perpétuellement chaque année, amener à la perfection ceux qui s'approchent.
Ainsi, le Christ, qui est le Souverain Sacrificateur, devait être lavé par un prophète, tout comme le prophète Moïse lava le souverain sacrificateur Aaron avant de l'oindre d'huile.
LÉVITIQUE 8:5
Moïse dit à l'assemblée : « Voici ce que l'Éternel a ordonné de faire. »
:6 Moïse fit approcher Aaron et ses fils, et il les lava avec de l'eau.
Les fils d'Aaron devaient être souverains sacrificateurs après lui.
LÉVITIQUE 8:12
:12 Il répandit de l'huile d'onction sur la tête d'Aaron et l'oignit, pour le sanctifier.
JEAN 1:32
Jean rendit ce témoignage : « J'ai vu l'Esprit descendre du ciel comme une colombe et s'arrêter sur lui. »
Ainsi, Jésus, notre Souverain Sacrificateur, fut lavé par le prophète Jean-Baptiste et oint de l'Esprit pour accomplir les exigences de la Loi.
Il fut également lavé parce qu'Il était notre sacrifice pour le péché et notre holocauste ; Il a souffert les tourments de l'enfer pour nous en payant le prix de nos péchés.
II CHRONIQUES 4:6
Il fit aussi dix cuves, et en plaça cinq à droite et cinq à gauche, pour y laver les objets destinés aux holocaustes ; mais la mer servait aux prêtres pour se laver.
Jésus est notre Agneau sacrificiel. Il était notre holocauste. Il devait donc être lavé dans l'eau. Cela s'est produit dans le Jourdain.
EXODE 12:8
Cette même nuit, on en mangera la chair, rôtie au feu ; on la mangera avec des pains sans levain et des herbes amères.
:9 Vous ne le mangerez point à moitié cuit et bouilli dans l'eau ; mais il sera rôti au feu, avec la tête, les jambes et l'intérieur.
:10 Vous n'en laisserez rien jusqu'au matin ; et, s'il en reste quelque chose le matin, vous le brûlerez au feu.
Notre « Agneau du sacrifice » au Calvaire est devenu notre « holocauste » lorsqu'il a traversé le feu de l'enfer pour arracher à Satan les clés de la mort et du séjour des morts, et pour rejeter nos péchés confessés sur le Diable.
Rôti au feu. Cela représentait les feux de l'enfer. Il n'y avait pas d'eau. Le feu est bien plus chaud que l'eau bouillante. Jésus n'a connu aucune miséricorde dans ses souffrances.
Les restes étaient entièrement brûlés et ne pouvaient plus être utilisés. Une partie était consommée et l'autre réduite en cendres. Rien de l'agneau pascal ne devait pourrir.
Jésus est notre Agneau pascal ; il n'a jamais connu la corruption après sa mort, car il est ressuscité en trois jours, avant que la corruption ne puisse s'installer.
Le sacrifice était utilisé une seule fois, puis les restes étaient brûlés.
Le fait d'être « brûlé » signifiait aussi qu'il ne pouvait servir qu'une seule fois. Un seul sacrifice pour le péché, une fois pour toutes.
APOCALYPSE 1:15
...ses pieds étaient semblables à de l'airain ardent, comme s'ils eussent été embrasés dans une fournaise ;...
APOCALYPSE 1:18
Je suis le premier et le dernier, et le vivant. J'étais mort ; et voici, je suis vivant aux siècles des siècles. Amen ! Je tiens les clés de la mort et du séjour des morts.
Il a porté nos péchés à travers le feu de l'enfer pour les rejeter sur le Diable, qui est la source du péché.
Il était sans péché et parfait ; les feux de l'enfer ne pouvaient Le consumer.
Jean-Baptiste, agissant en tant que grand prêtre, purifia Jésus. Ensuite, le Saint-Esprit descendit sur Jésus, et Il reçut l'onction.
Matthieu 3:16
Dès que Jésus fut baptisé, Il remonta hors de l'eau. Soudain, le ciel s'ouvrit pour Lui, et Il vit l'Esprit de Dieu descendre comme une colombe et reposer sur Lui.
Le Saint-Esprit reposa sur Lui mais n'entra pas en Lui.
L'onction consiste à appliquer de l'huile sur le corps, et non à l'ingérer.
Par conséquent, le Saint-Esprit n'entra pas en Lui.
Il possédait déjà le Saint-Esprit, car Il avait été conçu par le Saint-Esprit.
Matthieu 1:20
Mais alors qu'il y réfléchissait, un ange du Seigneur lui apparut en songe et dit : « Joseph, fils de David, ne crains pas de prendre Marie chez toi comme épouse, car ce qui a été conçu en elle vient du Saint-Esprit. »
En ce sens, le Saint-Esprit est le Père de Jésus, et pourtant Dieu est le Père de Jésus.
Par conséquent, le Saint-Esprit est Dieu le Père ; ils sont le même Esprit. Un enfant ne peut avoir deux pères.
L'Ancien Testament ne mentionne jamais « Dieu le Père ».
Dieu est devenu « Dieu le Père » seulement lorsque la plénitude de Ses attributs a habité corporellement en Jésus.
Colossiens 2:9 Car en Christ habite corporellement toute la plénitude de la divinité.
Éphésiens 4:4
Il y a un seul corps et un seul Esprit, tout comme vous avez été appelés à une seule espérance.
Ésaïe 43:11
Moi, je suis l'Éternel, et en dehors de moi, il n'y a pas de sauveur.
Jésus n'est pas un second sauveur se tenant à côté du trône de Dieu.
Jean 1:33
Je ne Le connaissais pas auparavant, mais Celui qui m'a envoyé baptiser d'eau m'a dit : « Celui sur qui tu verras l'Esprit descendre et demeurer, c'est Lui qui baptisera du Saint-Esprit. »
Jésus a reçu l'onction du Saint-Esprit ; l'Esprit est descendu sur Lui et a demeuré sur Lui.
Le Saint-Esprit n'est pas entré en Lui.
Il n'a pas été baptisé du Saint-Esprit. C'est lui-même qui baptise les autres du Saint-Esprit.
